FOCUS!!!

Dear Friends and Family,

These past 11 months or so have been the happiest I’ve been in a long time. It is because of the love and support from great people like yourselves that I have had the confidence to pursue this passion project. Many of you already know that I have been a motivational speaker for the past year and a half or so.

I have created this vision and just like anything else it takes time to grow into something meaningful. I am confident that if I keep momentum going it will continue to build on itself and become a highly successful endeavor. I am proud of the progress I have made in just a short time. I have built an awesome community, people who believe in me. They believe in this message and its potential to have a massive impact.

I have endured my share of adversity over the course of my life, especially within the past two years.

I truly believe in the power of a story to change lives. I believe that if I put myself out there in the most genuine way possible it will only enhance the lives of others. People WILL find something that relates to their lives and use it  to transform themselves for the better.

I have created a website that contains all the information about my speaking presentations and other services that I offer. Please visit http://jameybreen55.com/ for more information.

If you know someone who is in need of teambuilding, motivational speaking or a speaker for your organizational retreat let me know.

Since being published two weeks ago, I want to take the time to say thank you to everybody who has shown support  for my book on social media. Many people have made posts and have taken  pictures with your copies. This message has even been shared!  It is humbling to know how many people want to keep this message alive. Thank you for seeing the passion in my words and recognizing their value. I couldn’t be more proud to have produced my first book a motivational self-help story about my life. Turn challenges into opportunities. This book is the essence of me. I am truly grateful for your love and support. So many people have gone out of their way to make sure that I am happy and this book was created on the strength of your love.

I know the potential that this story has to make a difference in many lives. I can tell you for sure that I have the passion to be the driving force behind this mission. I have never been more proud to have done something in my entire life.

You know when something wakes you up in the middle of the night it must be pretty special. When you have that feeling of satisfaction in the pit your stomach because you know that you would do anything to move forward to achieve this meaningful goal. Lastly, when you know you have put your heart on these pages. You can sit back and say it was worth it

Connect  for a Cause

Hey what’s up guys,

A vision is just an idea until you have the motivation and drive to put it into action.

I have always been a motivated person. Since the time I was very young I was always told that anything was possible. I believe in the power of a story to change lives!

My vision is to help others turn their challenges into opportunities for success. Being positive for me is bigger then a simple mindset shift, it is a lifestyle!

Although I did get some exposure to motivational speaking back in college at Stonehill, My first major platform was with Easter Seals. An organization that gives Young leaders like myself opportunities to live, learn, work and play.

Easter Seals gives people like myself opportunities for personal growth. I am confident that eventually I would’ve made coaching and motivational speaking a part of my career but I am thankful for Easter Seals giving me this platform as a starting point because of vision always needs a launching pad!

During the past several months to a year I have given 40 presentations to Colleges, Schools and other businesses… All this however started with Easter Seals.

They have their annual event coming up on November 5 which is a Thursday night. The event is called Connect for a Cause.

I do not put my support behind organizations I do not believe in I believe in Easter seals! There’s a video following this blog, in the video I go into more of what this means to me personally.

Follow this link to find a video..

Thanks for watching! If you do decide to support Easter Seals and their mission just know that they have helped to get me to where I am today by giving me wonderful opportunities to share my message and to gain clarity on my vision. They support people like me and will continue to do so for years to come.

The Power of Now: The Creative Mind

Have you ever had an experience that left you feeling amazing afterwords? This experience was so awesome that you were almost in awe that it happened. If you have felt this before it is most likely a ” peak experience”. These experiences leave you feeling aware and ever present in the moment spiritually, mentally and emotionally all at once.

I just came back last week from vacation visiting Miami and the Florida Keys. Sometimes you have to break the routine open up yourcreative mind and “feel the moment”. During  vacation I started reading a book called “the power of now”I think it’s very important to break the routine and open up your mind to experience new things. You return energized and looking forward with a new refreshed attitude.

I am going to continue reading this book and soak up whatever it has to offer. During the first few pages this is what I have learned from Eckhart Tolle’s prospective. I develop in produce my own original content however you can always learn from others.

The following video is my perspective on the beginning of the book I suggest reading if you have time. At risk of saying  too much and giving away the video I will get cut straight to it.

I am always very positive motivated person however sometimes you need these experiences like being 300 feet above the Florida Keys to grow even further. As you will hear in the video if you have never tried parasailing in your life before go for it! The self growth you will experience from having a moment like that is priceless.

Thanks guys

Brotherhood

This past Wednesday I had the opportunity to address eighth and Tenth  graders from Xavierian Brothers High School. People have asked me how do you do it? How do you get up in front of 300 students and give a presentation? My answer is almost always the same if we are being honest with each other and I have to admit that it hasn’t always been this easy. It starts with my passion for helping others I love what I do. It is very easy for me to get up in the morning because I am excited for what every day brings I have that enthusiasm to keep me going. The challenge is getting others to realize what ignites their “Fire”.

How do you capture your passion and harness that energy to the best of your ability? It is easy for me because helping others to get excited for their future, realize their full potential and helping people discover themselves is what I am  really passionate about. Why? Presenting brings me fulfillment and a sense of wholeness. How can we use our talents to make this world a better place? What if we  even start a little smaller how can you use your talents to help your community? When you see a person that is a little different from you will you have the courage  to look outside the box and see the gift that this person brings to the  world? I am  sure if you really thought about it you would come to the conclusion that you can find something about yourself that is valuable and has the potential to make a difference. This is the fun part it’s called “finding your passion”

During my presentation I told the audience to look to the left of them, to the right of them  in front and behind them and look at all the people in the room. You will  be friends with three or four of these people your whole lives. They might be responsible for helping you figure out what drives you to your own success. My brother was certainly one of those people for me. In the middle part of my presentation I told a story about my brother on the rugby field. Rugby was one of many passions.

There is a three part video following this blog so I will not give away the whole story but just know that my brother has so much compassion and so much enthusiasm for his friends and family.  He has The ability to keep his friends very close in his life. He cared for everyone of them equally. There was not a person Dan was not willing to call brother. He saw the good side of everyone and had the ability to bring it out of them which is something that a lot of people can’t or won’t do because they are too caught up with themselves. Be aware of who is around you and try to see the gifts that each person bring to this world.
The video runs about 40 minutes it is in three Parts
They are posted in order

Think about the special people in your life, what is your talent(s) and how can you have the greatest impact on your community

Lastly be aware of what and who is around you if you see somebody who looks like they are in need of a brother make the effort to bring them into your life somehow

FaceTime Unplugged Ep 2: “Help”

Hey what’s up guys
As I said before this new series of videos and blogs called “FaceTime unplugged” Focuses on “real” issues in my life. I find the common ground between all of us. My goal is to help everyone by finding out where our paths intersect.

Now I don’t care who you are, at some point in your life you’re going to need “help”this is not a sign of weakness in fact, it’s  showing that you are self aware and that you embrace yourself for who you are. Don’t be afraid if this isn’t you right now, It can take years for a person to embrace themselves and that’s “OK”. The common ground is at some point in your life you’re going to need “Help”and who are you going to call? Who do you know that will be there for you when you’ve tried everything and finally come to the point where you call your friend, family member or close person and say “hey I need help.”
Don’t worry about how that makes you look. It is a tough line to walk because you don’t want to take away a persons independence by how much you help them you just want to give them what they need. I have goals and dreams just like anybody else. I am not too proud to say that I need “help”
I am empowered by the people who help me. Do not take away my independence only assist me in getting there. At risk of giving away the whole video that follows this blog, I want to say that I am thankful for each and every person in my life. I am the type of person that looks for every positive no matter how small. You may be a casual acquaintance or a close friend but I am thankful for you whether you taught me something negative or positive I am thankful for your presence in my life. If it happened to be a negative interaction thank you because you showed me what I don’t want to be like or what I don’t want to do in the future.
If you are a positive person you are a reflection of me and I also thank you for that. I know based on what type of person my brother was that he would not leave me”hanging.”If I need a positive person in my life he makes them show up why? The answer is simple “I have faith”. I believe that if you put positivity into this world it will come back to you.

I really just wanted to say thank you to all the positive people in my life you all really have helped me to see better days. In the process you all have given me something to share with others making my message and my story that much stronger and much more impactful for those who hear it. I wanto thank you for that. Every person is a gift, No matter how they show up in your life.

I close the video with a story about a random act of kindness however, I don’t want to give it away I just thought it was a really nice way to close the video.

Thanks guys,

FaceTime Unplugged Episode 1:

Hey what’s up guys,
I am starting a series called “FaceTime Unplugged” This series of Videos and Blogs will focused on “Real” issues in my life. I will come at these issues in a positive way in order to manifest a positive outcome. The details might be different every time but the message seeks to find common ground between everyone

This blog is accompanied by a video, It has been a while since I talked about things that are on my heart. I do not want to give away the whole video however, the basic premise of this FaceTime is to be “Real” about things I am feeling. Why?  Everybody has goals and limitations and things that hold them back, that is where our common ground lies .No matter how much you plan something you can almost always foresee making adjustments along the way because nothing ever goes as planned.
Once in a while you may get the break you’re looking for, more often than not you will have  make adjustments. Minus the details of everybody’s life The principle is the same everyone has to learn how to be patient with themselves. I have learned how to manifest positive things in my life, how to make my challenges into opportunities. I am not always the most patient person but that’s OK you cannot change who you are but you can learn to embrace your limits. I will always push for more because I know eventually somebody will recognize my passion.
If I continue to put value into my community genuinely and honestly how can that be ignored? Even though sometimes I might be impatient with how things are unfolding I have to stay true to myself and the root of who I am starts with in my heart. You cannot lose that belief  in yourself because that’s where it starts. The beginning of every journey the beginning of every goal starts within your heart. It’s OK that sometimes things don’t go according to plan and it’s good and healthy sometimes to take a step back and unplug The video will go into more details about my goals  I am referring to but the basic principle helps everyone.
If you are honest and true with yourself, you will always know to go back to your roots when searching for something. This is what helps me maintain my positive attitude and continue to manifest positive things in my life even when I feel like  I am losing patience. I remember that my lack of patience is just a reminder about how much I have to give, how much motivation  I have and how passionate  I am about helping others.
Always stay true to what you believe and what you want to accomplish, everything will happen in due time

“Be Real”

Teamsters Women National Committee

Hey what’s up guys,
This past Saturday I had The opportunity to speak in front of the Teamsters Women’s National Committee in Boston. The conference was hosted by the Westin Waterfront Hotel. I spoke with my friends from the Magical Moon Foundation in Marshfield Massachusetts.

The Magical Moon Foundation is a place where people turn their challenges into opportunities. The farm hosts kids from all walks of life it doesn’t matter whether it’s cancer or some other challenge The farm is a place of positivity, motivation and happiness

My friend Donna Green is the founder of the farm and when she and the other people at the farm asked me to speak with them how could I pass up the opportunity. I came to her with my own set of challenges just like anybody else. Even though I had already started my own mission of positivity when we joined forces my motivation and my message only got stronger.

When I told Donna that I wanted to spread positivity and motivation by teaching people to embrace life, not take things so seriously and to look at the “bigger picture “because you never know what lies ahead and people shouldn’t take life for granted.

When I told her of this mission she said “when you pulled up on this farm I could feel your positive energy coming to us before you stepped out of the car you don’t have to explain it to me we understand and that’s what we’re all about here”
When you commit yourself to a mission like this it can never be about yourself it is always about how you can use what you have gone through to help others and when you think of it like that it is very humbling every time I have an opportunity to give a presentation I learn something different about myself every time.
I have often pictured this ideal lifestyle for myself and I know it will take some time for me to get there but I’m willing to be patient and I’m willing to put in the work. This whole positivity movement that I have started and will continue does not happen overnight but each presentation each person I come in contact with is a little step closer. This journey that I am on is awesome and I am so proud of my interactions and work with the Magical Moon Farm it is so refreshing to see people so selfless and in tune with each other and the whole positivity movement
Everyone has their own story their own set of challenges to share with the world.
I was lucky enough to have our presentation flimed  on Saturday and below is the YouTube links so you all can watch the magic happen

Road to Responsibility

For the second day in a row I had the privilege to speak to a group. This time it was a bright and early morning in Higham Ma speaking to staff at Road to Responsibility

Although it was at 8 AM it was a great way to start my day. The staff  had me come speak to them before they started the  day program in their morning meeting

One of the coolest parts of the experience was that I met the sister of a former paraprofessional of mine from way back in the sixth grade. After hearing me speak she mentioned how still to this day her brother talks about his experience he had helping me years ago. It’s always awesome to hear how you have impacted a persons life.

Now that I am 24 years old looking back on my time in the sixth grade there was no way I could’ve predicted I would be doing motivational speaking at this point in my life.

She mentioned to me how I helped her brother come out of his shell and have new experiences. Back then I was just “Jamey”and I had no idea the profound impact that I would have on his life and to know that now is an awesome feeling.

Reconnecting with people from my past and reminiscing about growing up helps me to realize exactly why I do this, it offers great perspective and helps keep me grounded. While trying to  always stay focused on the big picture and the ultimate goal of helping others.

At the bottom of this post I will post the link to my video presentation. I want to close however with a sincere thank you to the staff at Road to Responsibility Every opportunity is just another avenue for my message to travel. So I want to say thank you from the bottom my heart

Thanks guys,
“Keep It Rollin”
